More about mulch: Mulching raised beds
One of the highlights of my summer was to visit the Swedish gardener and writer Börje Remstam's beautiful garden. It's been on my to-do list for several years, but I haven't had the time with several young children around. But now I finally made it!
You might not have heard of Börje Remstam before, especially not if you don't live in Scandinavia of course. I found out about him through his writings about mulching for a local organization working with organic gardening here in Sweden. He actually inspired me to start mulching and growing my own food. He's one of the reasons why Sara's Kitchen Garden has become such a big part of me and my family's life. This almost makes me a bit emotional to write about, but I honestly don't think I would have been able to experience all the beautiful moments in my garden without him.
I wanted to show you Börje's magnificent garden, which he calls his own paradise. I definitely understand why! Check out the video below to see for yourself:
Börje Remstam doesn't use social media, but you can reach him through his website if you happen to be in Sweden and would like to book a visit to his garden.

Börje is the chairman of the organization I mentioned earlier. I really appreciate their work promoting soil health. I hope this tour of a beautiful Swedish mulched garden inspired you to start using more mulch in your own garden too!
