Traditional Swedish beet salad
I love using beets in my cooking, it's a beautiful splash of color on the dinner table!

Ingredients
- beets
- apple
- creme fraiche
- mustard
- black pepper
- herbal salt
- parsley
This recipe comes from one of my readers, Maj-Britt Lind. Beet salad is something we traditionally eat at Christmas here in Sweden, but you can have it on many other occasions too of course. It's a great side dish to meat or poultry, or any vegetarian meal too for that matter. Try it!
Instructions:
Grate beets and apples, use 50/50 of each.
Add creme fraiche and season with a little mustard, black pepper and herbal salt.
Put plenty of chopped parsley in the salad and stir.
Enjoy!
