Chocolate mud cake with blueberries
I made this chocolate mud cake with fresh blueberries from my garden. The kids got to pick the berries themselves, and lick the batter bowl too of course!
Ingredients
- 1 stick (around 100 grams) of soft butter
- 1 1/4 cups (about 2 1/2 dl) of granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cups (1 dl) of wheat flour
- 3 tbsp cocoa
- 1 tsp of vanilla sugar
- 1/2-1 cups (around 1-2 dl) of blueberries (or other berries)
You simply can't go wrong with chocolate mud cake. It's just ridiculously good and very easy to make. No wonder people love it so much! I often bake this cake with my kids. Licking the bowl is of course the best part!
I like making this cake with fresh berries from my garden. You can of course use frozen berries too.
Instructions:
Mix the ingredients, except for the berries.
Carefully put the berries in last.
Pour the batter into a buttered and breaded circular baking tin, around 8 inches (20 centimeters) in diameter.
Turn the oven to 350 degrees (175 degrees Celsius) and bake for 13-15 minutes.
Serve with fresh berries and ice cream or whipped cream.
