Chocolate pudding with berries
This luscious chocolate pudding is absolutely delicious, and it barely contains any sugar at all!
Ingredients
- 3 1/3 cups (8 dl) milk
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cups (around 1 dl) of corn starch
- a little bit more than 1/3 cups (1 dl) of cacao
- 1-2 tablespoons of granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla sugar
This chocolate pudding is my kids favorite snack! I often make it after they come home from school and I serve it with fruits and berries. The pudding only contains two tablespoons of sugar and you can even cut that amount in half without affecting the taste.
Instructions:
Mix all of the ingredients in a pot, add the milk little by little and whisk to avoid lumps. Let it simmer and keep stirring. The batter will get thicker with time. When it's nice and creamy, pour it into a bowl that you prepared by rinsing it in warm water. You can avoid getting a skin on top of your pudding by sprinkling some sugar on it. Let it cool and put it somewhere cold until it's time to eat. I usually leave my pudding outside, covered with a plate to save some room in the fridge.
Serve with fruit or berries and some milk or cream. Enjoy!
