My first podcast from Sara's Kitchen Garden!

This is my first podcast ever in English! I am so excited and also a bit proud that I challenge myself to do this. Hope you'll like it. In my first episode I sneak out in the garden late night and have a look.

Sara står i vit skjorta i kvällsljus, solglasögon och hörlurar, i tunnelväxthuset.

Me in my polytunnel last days of June 2019.

Dear garden friends! Today I have released my very first episode of an English podcast. To be honest with you I don't know quite where this will end, but for now, it's really fun. And since I have decided to keep doing fun things I'll just follow that feeling and throw myself into this new project. Here you can listen to the first episode.

Unfortunately, it will take another week or so for the show to appear in iTunes and Spotify, I had totally forgotten that it took so long to register. As soon as they have approved she show I will let you know so that you can subscribe.

I will also publish the podcast on Sara's Kitchen Garden on YouTube since many of you will find it easy to listen from there maybe. Let me know if there are other podcast-apps that you use and I will try to publish it there too.

There is no specific webpage for the podcast but I will publish every new episode here at my blog. Please, leave a comment if there is anything you want to hear more about or ask me. Thank you for listening!

Perennials

Here are the perennials that I bought seeds for the other day. Many of them I have sown before with good results. More about the sowings later on this summer.

  • Alpine Sea Holly 'Superbum'
  • Perovskia 'Taiga'
  • Wild thyme
  • Clematis Integrifolia (blue flowers)
  • Regal lily
  • Welsh onion
  • Blue Sea Holly 'Blue Glitter'
  • Astrantia 'Rose Symphony'
  • Crambe Cordifolia
  • Rudbeckia 'Green Wizard'
  • Delphinium 'Magic Fountains Cherry White Bee'
  • Delphinium 'Magic Fountains Lilac White Bee'
  • Delphinium 'Guardian Blue'

A nice flowering boarder in sunset.

This wonderful border with flowers is now a complete mess and I have to dig the plants up and start all over again.

The flower borders I talk about in the podcast are the once on the pictures above. I describe how I have made them in the blog post: Creating new raised beds (originally published in Swedish by January 2016).

I so love your YouTube channel in English, Sara, and have now discovered your blog. Thank you for sharing your amazing garden and your energetic enthusiasm, skills and refreshing ways with all of us who follow. It is such a treat when you post another English video - and when I'm needing inspiration, watching one of your past videos usually does the trick to get me out there into my garden. Susie

    Hi
